Prayer for alcoholic son – Father, I thank You for the many blessings that You have graciously bestowed on me, and in such abundance, but Lord my heart aches for my son, who has become so addicted to alcohol causing his life to almost spiral out of control.

Lord I am powerless to do anything to help him and he seems so lost and in so pain and I beg You, Father, to intervene in his life and show us what we can do to get things under control… help him to break free of this terrible addiction and get back some semblance of normality due to this into this heart-rending situation.

Lord, I know that You have plans for my son and yet he has strayed so far from the path of Your choosing – but Father I pray that in Your grace and mercy You would show us what to do to free him from His addiction to alcohol. Give me The strength of Your mighty power to support him through this difficult time and help him I pray to break free from his alcoholism – and to You be all the praise and glory – this I ask in Jesus name,
