For a child who has lost their way in life

For a child who has lost their way in life – Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for my dear child, but my heart is breaking as they have left the way of truth to follow after the baubles of this world.

Lord, I remember a time when my child loved You – at least so I thought, but they have strayed far away and become like the prodigal son in the Bible, who has ended up living off the dregs of this world when You have prepared a rich table of grace and love on which they can feast in abundance.

For a child who has lost their way in life

Bring my child back I pray – may my child recall what Jesus did for them on the cross and repent… turn away from their sinful way and turn back to Christ Who loves them so much. Oh Lord bring my child back to Your fold and into fellowship with Yourself.
