Prayer to bring up children wisely – Loving Father Your word promises that if I bring up my children in the way they should go, then when they are old they will not depart from it… Lord, I ask that YOU give me the wisdom to do just that – to teach my children the ways of the Lord, just as the mother and grandmother of Timothy taught him the Holy Scriptures from being a young child.

So, Father, I claim that promise for my children – I ask You to give me the wisdom as I teach them about Jesus and how He died for all the wrong things that we have done – so that we might be forgiven and one day go to be with Him in heaven.

Help me not to compromise on the truth and when they ask difficult questions – give me the wisdom and grace to have an answer for the faith that I have in You –I ask this in the name of Jesus, Who died for me and my children.
