A prayer for thanksgiving – Our Father God, we thank You for loving us so much that You gave Your one and only Son, Jesus Christ so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. We love and adore You. Lord Jesus, thank You for sacrificing Your life on the cross for our sins.  Because of You, we can now stand before You as pure, holy, and justified. We also thank You for sending the Holy Spirit, our Comforter.  Holy Spirit, we thank You for filling us with love, fruit, gifts, and power.  We exalt You, our God and King. We praise Your Name forever and ever.

Jesus, our Bread of Life, we are grateful that You have given us peace with God. Because of Your obedience and sacrifice, there is no longer a void between us and our Heavenly Father. Lord, You were wounded for our transgressions. You were bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon You, and by Your stripes, we are healed. Your Name is above all other names. At Your Name, every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that You are Lord. Thank You for redeeming us and placing the Kingdom of God within us.

Holy Spirit, help us to stay focused on Kingdom business instead of worldly desires, and selfish cares and concerns. Help us to regard Jesus’ Name as holy. Help us to keep renewing our minds daily until the image of Christ is formed on the inside of us. Help us to show great reverence for the suffering, the shame, and the sacrifice of our Lord. And keep us humbled in knowing that were it not for Jesus Christ, we would have no hope at all.

Holy Spirit, help us all to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

A prayer for thanksgiving

Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. You are the Lord, our Redeemer, and Creator, who made all things. You alone stretched out the heavens. You reign forever, executing judgment from Your throne. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
